Description
Winemaking
Both malolactic fermentation and ageing are carried out for 30 days in French oak barrels.
The Horcajo plot, which gives this wine its name, is located at an altitude between 850 and 900 metres. Its position provides excellent conditions for vine cultivation thanks to its protection from frost, the heterogeneity of the terrain and the fertility of its soils. All these factors enable this parcel to produce a structured wine with rich aromatic profiles.
Tasting notes
Very deep picota cherry red in colour. On the nose it is intense and complex, with black fruit notes typical of Tempranillo, full of nuances that evolve in the glass without losing freshness. On the palate it is powerful yet gentle, with rounded tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Type of wine
