Vinícola de Arganda is a winery founded in the 1940s. In 2002, it relocated its facilities to a new site, allowing the integration of all the latest technical advances into the winemaking process in order to produce modern wines tailored to today’s consumer. The winery is equipped with temperature-controlled fermentation, pneumatic presses and an ageing cellar with controlled temperature and humidity, with capacity for 2,000 barrels, most of them made of medium-toast American oak.
The vineyards are over 30 years old and are planted on sedimentary soils, mainly limestone-based, typical of the Arganda del Rey subzone. The soils have a loamy or clay-loam texture. The vineyards lie between 600 and 650 metres above sea level, located in the heart of the Castilian plateau, which contributes to the character and balance of the wines.
