Château de Rouillac is a distinguished estate located in Canéjan, south of Bordeaux, in the heart of the AOC Pessac-Léognan. Its history dates back to the 19th century, when it belonged to the legendary Baron Haussmann, the architect of modern Paris.
With more than 36 hectares of vineyards, the estate combines tradition and modernity under the direction of Laurent Cisneros, who has driven a commitment to sustainable viticulture and a comprehensive technical renewal. The gravel and sandy soils, typical of the region, provide excellent drainage and promote balanced ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc.
The wines of Château de Rouillac reflect the elegance and depth characteristic of the great wines of Graves: structured reds with fine tannins and great ageing potential, and fresh, aromatic whites with precise mineral expression.
