In the early 1960s, Jean Diot created the champagne that would bear his name. Over the years, he developed a family estate that has preserved its values and traditions. Taken over in 1998 by his children, Maison Jean Diot, located in Vinay, continues to craft its champagnes thanks to the meticulous work in the vineyards established on the south-facing slopes of Épernay and the Vallée de la Marne.
Its wines soon began to receive important awards, such as the Silver Medal at the Logroño Exhibition of 1898 and the Gold Medal at the Barcelona Universal Exhibition in 1929.
