Emina Emoción is a signature wine, complex and elegant. A pure, traditional yet modern wine crafted from carefully selected grapes from the Valdebaniego area—specifically from the lower slopes of the Ribera del Duero, chosen for the special composition of their limestone soils. Thanks to a triple harvest, only superior quality grapes are selected, preserving the true aromas and flavors of the variety.
Emina combines traditional winemaking values with modern expertise, fermenting and macerating in stainless steel tanks, then aging for 16 months in French oak barrels. It is finally rested in the bottle for the time needed to round the tannins, imparting elegance that delivers a prolonged flavor and lasting memory—just like emotions.
Tasting notes
Colour: Dark cardinal red with a very intense layer, rounded by purplish tones.
Nose: Aromas of ripe red fruits and spiced black fruits with hints of cocoa, free of lactones. It is a complex wine, full of balanced nuances that evoke mineral touches.
Palate: On the palate, it is a wine with character, featuring firm and robust tannins, great length, and no harsh edges, rounded thanks to its aging. Its elegance and complexity are reminiscent of a reserva, yet with the relaxed touch characteristic of all Bodega Emina wines.
Food pairing
Emina Emoción is a powerful and structured wine that demands dishes capable of matching its strength. Grilled meats are an excellent pairing choice for this wine.
An ideal dish to accompany Emina Emoción is a grilled aged ribeye steak. The steak’s intense, meaty flavor harmonizes beautifully with the wine’s tannins, while the grill imparts a smoky note that perfectly completes the pairing.
