Emina Rosé Prestigio is a “rosé” wine from the D.O. Cigales, made from old vine vineyards over 70 years old, planted as bush vines. It is crafted from a mix of white and red grape varieties, each contributing its own color and characteristics. Cold maceration is used to extract minimal color, resulting in a uniquely pale rosé. The production process is completed with a 2-month aging on fine lees.
This wine, with elegant and distinctive personality, comes from old vineyards over 70 years old planted as bush vines. Its origin lies in a variety of grapes, both white and red, which provide their own tones and characteristics. Cold maceration is applied to extract very little color, achieving a uniquely pale rosé, and the process concludes with 2 months of fine lees aging.
Tasting notes
Colour: Shows a beautiful pale strawberry hue of low intensity with purplish edges, very clean, glyceric, and bright.
Nose: A very complex, enveloping, voluptuous, and intense wine, thanks to the blend of varieties from which it comes. On the nose, it presents a wide range of forest fruit aromas, such as currant and blackberry, along with herbal and balsamic notes of thyme and lavender, and subtle mineral tones.
Palate: A rosé wine with measured volume, resulting from the long cold maceration of the grapes, yet light and suggestive on the palate.
Food pairing
Emina Rosé Prestigio is perfect for pairing with dishes of pronounced exotic character: Thai, Japanese, or Chinese cuisine. It also pairs beautifully with cheeses, fish, or salads. This is an exceptional wine for savoring the moment, as drinking it is an experience in itself.
