Description
Winemaking
Made with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano grapes. Cold maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature to maximise the preservation of the grape’s fruity aromas and achieve optimal colour extraction.
Aged for 24 months in American and French oak and then stored for several months in tanks to achieve a well-balanced blend before bottling, which took place at the end of 2019.
Tasting notes
Colour: Medium-bodied cherry red, with good legs, vibrant tones, and little evolution.
Nose: Intense, with fresh notes of cassis, blackberries, candied fruits, and a subtle hint of wild herbs. Swirling the glass reveals balsamic notes, ripe red fruits, pipe tobacco, and cedar from a cigar box. Complex and expressive.
Palate: Fresh and fleshy on the attack. On the palate, broad with velvety and balsamic tannins, dominated by red fruits with stewed hints. Long, flavoursome finish with subtle mineral tones. Excellent potential for further bottle aging.
