Visit of Michel Rolland and Javier Galarreta

Last May, we had the pleasure of welcoming Michel Rolland, a graduate of the La Tour Blanche School of Viticulture and Oenology and the Faculty of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux, and one of the icons of world oenology, as well as Javier Galarreta, president and founder of ARAEX Rioja Alavesa, S.L. and SPANISH FINE WINES, S.L.

The purpose of this visit was to present the R&G Wine Collection (Rolland & Galarreta) through a series of very high-level events held at Hostal La Torre, Sa Capella Restaurant, and the Six Senses Hotel.

Grupo Mambo

What defines Grupo Mambo, a family-owned company chaired by Mr. Javier Anadón, is its passion for gastronomy, in a Mediterranean and top-level atmosphere, across the most iconic restaurants and hotels in Ibiza.

At Hostal La Torre, we had the opportunity to attend a master tasting led by Michel Rolland and Javier Galarreta for the entire MAMBO team, where we were able to taste the finest wines from the R&G Collection:

Afterwards, at Sa Capella Restaurant, we enjoyed a wine-pairing dinner that paid tribute to Ibiza’s finest dishes, paired with the best wines of Rolland & Galarreta. At this dinner, we had the pleasure of being joined not only by Michel and Javier, but also by the Anadón family: Javier and his sons Christian and Alan.

Six Senses Hotel

The following day, changing scenery, a talk and tasting were held at the Six Senses Hotel with both the hotel’s management and team, as well as resident guests. On this occasion, guests had the opportunity to enjoy and share some very pleasant moments with both Michel and Javier, and to gain deeper insight not only into the wines of the R&G Collection, but also into their experiences in the field of oenology at a global level.

To conclude, we enjoyed a private dinner with an exceptional sunset and a truly unique atmosphere.
