Description

Winemaking

Nestled on the schist slopes of Pierrefeu-du-Var, the finest vineyard parcels from the exceptional terroir of Château La Gordonne are meticulously selected for this Chapelle Gordonne wine. The harvest is carried out entirely at night to take advantage of cooler temperatures, optimizing grape quality. During pressing, the first-run juices are carefully selected to retain only the finest extracts. Fermentation takes place over three weeks in temperature-controlled tanks. Afterwards, the winemakers and cellar masters gather to determine the blend for this wine, meeting the highest standards in color and organoleptic characteristics.

Tasting notes

Color: Pale pink with pearly highlights
Nose: A very pleasant aromatic balance. The wine’s minerality is revealed with notes of fresh fruit.
Palate: Aromas of pink grapefruit, linden blossom, and wild strawberry. Exquisite freshness with a silky, delicate texture. Slightly citrusy finish with remarkable persistence.

Food pairing

It would pair perfectly with a refined seafood dish, such as Bellevue lobster, whose delicacy and meaty flavor harmonize beautifully with the wine. A gourmet rosé for an elegant dinner.
