Pre-fermentative maceration to extract fruity aromas.<\/p><p>Controlled fermentation at 26\u00baC with indigenous yeasts and minimal pump-overs. Two days of post-fermentative maceration. Free-run wine obtained without pressing, followed by consecutive malolactic fermentation.<\/p><p>Aged for 5 months in French (45%) and American (55%) oak barrels. Further refined in tank for another two months before bottling. The barrels used are new (33%), and one- and two-year-old.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-664fe40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"664fe40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Tasting notes<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-035f4e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"035f4e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Colour:<\/strong> Very intense cherry red with bluish hues and a bright shine<br \/><strong>Nose:<\/strong> Intense fruit aromas (blackberry, blueberry) integrated with subtle hints of oak and caramel. Mineral notes and a touch of India ink<br \/><strong>Palate:<\/strong> Good body with long persistence. Fresh, well-integrated acidity. Flavours of fruit and oak, with very smooth tannins and great balance.
