It is long and persistent, with a strong presence of fruit and a finish dominated by spicy notes.<\/p><p>The remarkable typicity of this exceptional grape is defined by the century-old vineyard of \u201cO Rasedo,\u201d with its slate soils and very low average yields of 1 kg of grapes per vine.<\/p><p>Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks; malolactic fermentation and aging occur over 12 months in 225-liter French oak barrels; it then rests for a further 24 months in the bottle, where it achieves its fullest expression.<\/p><p>An inimitable wine, full of character and with great aging potential.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-664fe40 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"664fe40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Tasting notes<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-035f4e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"035f4e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Colour:<\/strong> Ladeira Vella presents a deep, vibrant red, where time and maturation have woven a purple cloak with violet reflections, dense and luminous. Its thick layer hints at a wine with body and character.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Nose:<\/strong> The nose is a dialogue between freshness and complexity. Initially, juicy dark fruits burst forth, followed by warmer nuances: toasted butter candies, lightly salted sunflower seeds, and a whisper of sweet spices. All wrapped in an elegant minerality reminiscent of wet slate.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Palate:<\/strong> The entry on the palate is powerful yet refined, with silky tannins that shape a broad and well-defined structure. The black fruit reappears, this time with a touch of compote, balanced by fresh acidity that adds liveliness. Toasted notes integrate without overshadowing the fruit, adding depth.
