Description
Winemaking
Made with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo grapes. Cold maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature to preserve as much as possible the grape’s fruity aromas and achieve optimal colour extraction. Aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by several months in tank to ensure a well-integrated wine before bottling.
Tasting notes
Colour: Deep cherry red, very vibrant with good legs.
Nose: After a few seconds in the glass, subtle notes of cedar and cinnamon emerge. Swirling the glass intensifies aromas of stone fruits such as cherries, accompanied by hints of elderflower and aromatic herbs like bay.
Palate: A “serious” wine with very silky tannins, full of flavours and hints of spices and aromatic herbs such as boxwood and bay. The finish is fresh and long, with notes of dark chocolate and candied cherries.
